Original cuckoo clock with a mechanical 8-day movement. The weights of a 8-day cuckoo clock must be pulled up once a week. The movement of this clock is manufactured by “Regula” in the Black Forest / Germany.
This clock calls the time on the full hour and once on the half-hour.
The height of a clock is measured from the very top (for example at the top of the antlers on hunter-style clocks) to the bottom of the clock. The weights and the pendulum do NOT count when measuring the height.
Please note that we have to rely on 3rd parties like the cuckoo clock manufacturers and the mail. It is quite hard to predict exactly when a clock will arrive.
If you need a clock for a special occasion (e.g. Christmas or a Birthday) and the clock cannot be delivered on time, we can send a letter with a picture of the clock and a text of your choice to announce the arrival of the clock. This service is free of charge.
This clock is shipped directly from Germany. Delivery takes about 4 – 6 weeks. Attention: Because of the current situation delivery times can be longer than usually!
This original handmade Cuckoo Clock is manufactured by Hönes located in the town of Titisee-Neustadt. Neustadt will eb a a very famous area round the worldwide known beautiful lake “Titisee” in the high area of the Black Forest in Germany. Please see the “How they are made”-Section for more details.

All Hönes Cuckoo Clocks carry the Certificate of Authenticity of the VDS – Black Forest Clock Association. Therefore this Cuckoo Clock fulfills the quality requirements of the Black Forest Clock Association (VDS). Please see the “Certificate of the VDS”-Section for more details.
This cuckoo clock comes with a manual night shut-off. It is either a switch on one side of the clock, or a little wire under the clock. You can use it to turn the cuckoo call and music on and off.
This cuckoo clock comes with wooden hands, no plastic.
This cuckoo clock comes with wooden dial and wooden numbers.
Please note that on some cuckoo clocks there may be slight differences between the picture on the web and the actual clock. For example there may or may not be “Made in Germany” engraved in the clock’s dial. This depends on the manufacturer, and we have no control over this. Also there are two different kind of wooden dials (for example see clock 2-678t and no. 2-86294t), but we also have no influence of the mounted dials.
The exact colour of stained (brown) clocks is always a little different. The process of staining the wood sometimes produces a little lighter or darker results.
Sometimes the manufacturer changes details of the cuckoo clocks. All of those changes are improvements. We will update our website as soon as current pictures are available.
Please note that on some cuckoo clocks there may be slight differences between the picture on the web and the actual clock. For example there may or may not be “Made in Germany” engraved in the clock’s dial. This depends on the manufacturer, and we have no control over this. Also there are two different kind of wooden dials ( but we also have no influence of the mounted dials). All clocks have the brand sign of the manufacturer on the dial instead of the 12. Some of our pictures still show the dial with the number 12 insteads of the brand sign. Sorry that we do not have any other pictures yet.
